What I Wish I Would Have Known
Learning How to Grow
It’s been under three months since I started my journey as a creator.
Up until that point I had absorbed social media the same way the sponge at the bottom of the kitchen sink absorbs old water:
Soaking up whatever filth drifted my way.
But then I made a decision to create (instead of just consuming).
I have known for a long time that I wanted more out of life than what my daily work life provided
For years I have:
Read self improvement books
Listened to podcasts
Took Courses
I also wrote down goals (without knowing what I truly wanted)
That changed a few months ago with the birth of my daughter.
It was shortly after that moment that a dynamic shift took place in my mind:
I wanted to be free to experience life on my own terms.
(So that she could experience hers that way as well)
My time on X has been challenging.
(There have been days when I thought about giving up)
But I endured instead.
I’ve learned more than I ever could have imagined in the few short months since I’ve started.
As I write this I am quickly approaching 1500 followers on the platform.
Growing an active following-
(and developing it into a community that engages)
-has been my focus since I started creating.
I’ve taken all that I’ve learned and compiled it into a easily accessible course:
It’s full of everything you need to know about building a large engaged following quickly.
Let me know what you think of it.
