Your Ideas Don't Matter

The greatest idea in the world doesn’t matter:

If no one ever hears it.

That’s something that has been hammered into my mind-

(again and again)

-as I go through my journey as a creator.

Some of the best ideas I have seen online have been from small accounts.

But…

(because they only had a handful of followers)

The odds of anyone seeing what they had to say was very small.

I started writing

-and publishing that writing online-

because I had something to say.

I have:

• Ideas about life and business

• Opinions about important issues

• Thoughts built up around years of experience

And I want to share those with the world.

(So I decided to start my journey as a creator on X)

When wrote my first post.

• No one liked it

• Commented on it

• Or even read it

Because of this:

The first major obstacle I faced as I began was creating a following.

There are millions upon millions of users on the platform.

But (unfortunately) they don’t come out and find you.

You have to draw in the people who will be interested in what you have to say.

It was a big shock to learn that it didn’t matter what I had to say

(If I couldn’t get it in front of the people who would want to read it)

It was because of this that I:

• Learned how to build a community online

• Began marketing my ideas

• And will continue to grow and adapt as the age of information continues to progress

I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned so far about building a community online.

I continue to learn more each and every day.

And I’m grateful that the ideas I have will now be heard-

Because I’ve learned how to get those ideas in front of the people who need to hear them.
